ZOMBIES!...wait...no...INFECTED!!

I recently read the 28 days later comic by Declan Shalvey and colored by Nick Filardi, so I figured I do some pages! How FUN!

BIG BOOM!

SO let me tell you a little about doing a fully digital piece in photoshop...NOT FOR ME!!!!! These pages are done completely in versions (CS5 at school and CS1 at home) of photoshop. Not something I may be doing ever again, but then again...who knows. These are also sticking with the war theme I am stuck on right now.

Character Redos

So I did these pictures of Power Girl and Daredevil. Then a couple of days ago someone needed characters for the background of a project they were working on, but they needed to be unlicensed characters...I don't have any of those. So I had to redesign them due to time reasons. So here they are! I call them Dragonfly Girl and Ninja Assassin (aka N/A or not applicable).

The Lion

This was a study in ink using only a brush. I used a Raphael 8404 number one and number two. I also experimented with dry brush for the rocks.

The Thing...again

This is the image that was created after the test early last week.

Smallville

Sketch for a friend who is a huge fan of smallville...personally I am not a fan of the red leather suit...oh well. His blue is coming soon. ANd yes it's a phone pic....sorry

The Thing

Sometimes you just gotta draw the Thing.

Boxing

So I am a little obsessed with war right now. The ins and outs of sending someone else to possibly die for my freedom. Especially if the reasons are very unclear. The previous cover and this two pager and probably the next few projects you see up here are all based around this idea. These pages are a couple of military men doing some training. The colored versions are followed by the black and white versions.

comic cover

This is a cover for a series of war stories I am doing for classes and to hand out at conventions.

Person of the Year for Class...only for Class

This was for a class at school...I think it's a pretty good likeness.

Absorbing Man

Never heard of Absorbing Man? Are you the "Marvel Fan" that doesn't own the Trading card sets from the Nineties? Thought so, thought so...

G-Nibs

Trying a new tool here, playing with G nibs from jetpens.com...still working on the technique....
