The next issue of Magicians Must Die focuses on the love interest of our main character. So I need to brush up on my ladies.  Here are a few to begin with...I have some work to do.

Quick Post today...did some drawing at a coffee shop.  Used Slicci and Pentel Brush Pen

Drawing from Photos

I found some fantastic black and white photos from Dorothea Lange, and did some drawing from them with a Slicci pen (can also use a Pentel Hi-Tec C). They are great drawing tools and really make you decide where you are putting your marks. I also did a profile portrait of one of my professors at SCAD, Shawn Crystal, check out his work HERE

Some life drawing

These are a couple of drawings from model sessions. If you want the best way to get to know the human figure...GO DRAW IT!! Go to a coffee shop, sit down and draw the people in line, while you wait for a plane in the airport, pull out your pen and sharpie and go at it!
